EAA checklist

A compact list of the points that come up most often around the EAA. Does not replace a full assessment, but helps you get started.

Structure & content

One h1, a tidy heading hierarchy, the page language (lang), meaningful page titles, real landmarks (main, nav, footer), a skip link to the content.

Rendering

Text contrast ≥ 4.5:1, zoom to 200% without a lock, no text as graphics, visible focus, prefers-reduced-motion respected.

Interaction

Everything operable with the keyboard, form fields labelled, error messages concrete and linked, meaningful link texts, motion can be paused.

Formal

Accessibility statement published, with a feedback mechanism and an enforcement procedure.
