Accessibility with WordPress
WordPress itself can be accessible — the problems usually come via the theme, the plugins and the page blocks.
Common places for findings
Themes with too low contrast or without visible focus, slider plugins without pause/keyboard operation, embedded forms (Contact Form 7 etc.) with unlabelled fields, image blocks without alt.
First step
Choose a theme that cares about accessibility, keep heading levels and alt texts consistent in the block editor, use sliders sparingly, check the source code of the home page.
